HRCI Will Relentlessly Champion the Rights of the Marginalized: National Chairman Dr. Srikanth Chennupati

Dr. Srikanth Chennupati, Founder and National Chairman of the Human Rights Council for India (HRCI), emphasized that serving as the steadfast voice for the underprivileged and relentlessly defending basic human rights must be the sole mission of the organization. A high-level national review meeting with newly inducted members was convened on Tuesday at the HRCI National Office under his leadership.
Addressing the gathering with an inspiring and motivational charge, Dr. Srikanth Chennupati underscored the profound responsibility that leadership demands:
”Leadership in human rights is not a badge of honor or an ornamental title; it is an uncompromising moral duty to stand with those who cannot stand for themselves. True change does not emerge from conference halls; it is achieved when we step into the field, look injustice in the eye, and refuse to back down. Every single fundamental right enshrined in the Indian Constitution must reach the most vulnerable citizen. Let your integrity be unshakeable, your compassion boundless, and your resolve unwavering. When you champion someone’s right to dignity, you are not merely doing social work—you are building the nation’s moral conscience.”
He assured that wherever injustice, exploitation, or human rights violations occur, HRCI will fearlessly stand at the forefront, providing full legal aid, moral backing, and structural intervention until justice prevails. He exhorted the new cohort to lead with courage, selfless dedication, and relentless ground-level engagement.
The review convention was attended by HRCI National General Secretary Dr. L. Mutyala Babu, the President of the South India Women’s Wing, and key delegates across various functional divisions. The leadership deliberated extensively on institutional expansion, grassroots outreach roadmaps, upcoming social welfare initiatives, and legal advocacy frameworks. The event concluded with the formal orientation and felicitations of the newly inducted office-bearers, in the presence of national and state executive committee members.
